Our Commitment to Parents
We’re here to support your boarder, not only academically but to stay focused, motivated and excited by learning. We’re here to provide study support, when you can’t be there.
We work with child psychologists, education experts, and SPLC to deliver tutoring strategies that develop "A-grade" learning skills. We then carefully select, train and support all our Brisbane primary and high school tutors to create the optimum study strategy for your child.
Help your child meet their full potential!
We Get Your Challenges
Whether the child is “embracing parent-free freedom” at the cost of their grades, or missing home too much to focus, our team is carefully trained to identify psychological barriers and overcome them.
We then roll out a study strategy for your child that includes time spent on attitude, mindset and emotional wellbeing.
Constant Communication, Constant Support
One of the fundamental principles of our approach to tutoring is the “child’s support network”. Your child needs the support and influence of the school, teachers, peers, parents and tutors to thrive. In a boarding house, this means additional support from tutors to support the parent’s key roles:
- Overseeing homework and study at home
- Acting as a cheerleader
- Providing positive influence
- Providing mentoring
- Assisting in navigating social and emotional situations
We liaise with your child’s support network to ensure there are no gaps and provide feedback and communication with the whole network – so your child’s educational needs are seamlessly met.
Our Transformer Prep Program at SPLC
We provide St Peters students with highly engaging and effective tutoring assistance during the students’ Boarding Prep time. The Transformer Prep Program is provided to year 7, 8, & 9 students along with providing homework assistance. The Transformer Prep program is a carefully tailored program designed to improve your child’s confidence, motivation, and grades by developing their mindset, strategy and support during their most crucial years. We provide weekly challenges to capture the classroom, as well as end-of-term activities that will become a highlight of boarding life and deliver content based on school curriculum and “A” grade study strategies.

... What Our Clients Have To Say ...
“Oh my god, I thought this was too good to be true! I am over the moon with A Team Tuition and our APT, James. He and Jason hit it off really well and my son’s confidence has already improved. His body language has changed and instead of struggling with him to get out of the car for school today, he jumped out and was happy to go inside. All it took was one person to sit with him one on one and give him praise, teach him, to change everything for him!
A weight has been lifted from my shoulders thanks to A Team Tuition & James.”
“Emily is my son Joseph’s Academic Personal Trainer! Emily’s patience and ability to work with Joseph has allowed him to change his black and white thinking. This has provided opportunities for Joseph to get better marks in Year 10!”
“The word “Proud” doesn’t even come close to expressing how we felt last night at our daughter’s Awards Ceremony. The studying structure and skills she has developed since starting with the program has been invaluable.”
“Jasiel was very apprehensive initially, our APT encouraged Jasiel to speak about her math concerns and Jasiel soon felt a level of trust. The way our APT explained the concepts and encouraged Jasiel to participate was great and received by her very quickly. Our APT has a great approach, very warm, friendly and funny. He spoke about his love for math and his current studies which Jasiel was quite impressed with. I can see why you mainly use University students.
Jasiel is actually looking forward to ongoing sessions with her APT, he gave her such a boost to her confidence which has been so low, he didn’t question her lack of understanding or belittle her, he was so encouraging and supportive. He gave her tips, let her know what to put in her math workbook when she has her exam next week – a few “don’t forget” points. He was brilliant. After what I saw last night, I’m looking forward to seeing the end result in her overall school, study, motivation and confidence.”
“Caelan came out of the session and said he had so much fun! I couldn’t believe my ears that anyone would ever say they had fun doing maths tutoring. He’s already finished all the homework Josh set for him and can’t wait for next week.”
