Karen McClear

Hello! 

My name is Karen and I am the Head of Sales and Marketing at A Team Tuition.  I consider myself to be passionate, energetic and intuitive. In my spare time I love spending time with my family.  I have 2 children in primary school as well as a large plant family that I am slightly obsessed with. 

I have a passion for education and as the mother of a child with ADHD, I really connected with Hayden McEvoy, the founder of A Team, as well as the values of the business on a personal level.  Education was incredibly important to our family growing up.  My Dad and Mum didn’t get an opportunity to finish school and after joining the QLD Police, Dad went back to university at a mature age student to complete a Law degree.  Dad (who has passed away) was an inspiration to me and has been a driving force in many of my life decisions.

I have completed a Bachelor in Business (with distinction) and a Master of Business Administration in Economic Strategy and Operations Management (with distinction) from QUT.   I was awarded the Australian Institute of Management Award, The Deans Award for Excellence and was in the Brisbane Graduate School of Business’ 1% Club.

As Head of Sales and Marketing, I have the opportunity to connect families with our program which provides students with the strategies, resources and support to succeed.  I feel inspired by the families I connect with and feel privileged every day that these families put their trust in A Team Tuition.
